Configuring attribute visibility

Richard Cote
Hi all

I want to expose some attributes via the martservice only, not through the
martviewer. What are the marteditor configuration settings to achieve this goal?

Cheers,
Rc

Hi Richard,

This is pretty simple, just set the "hideDisplay" value on the attribute to "true" and that will hide it from MartView, but it will still be accessible via MartService.

Cheers,

Daz

Try using the 'hideDisplay' attribute and setting it to 'true'. I believe this stops MartView from displaying it, but it still exists and so MartService should still pick it up.

cheers,
Richard

Hi Richard,

I am fairly certain if you use hideDisplay in MartEditor they should still be available for a martservice query and not appear in martview.

Cheers
