You may need to completely delete this directory before reinstalling
DB_File.

Also if that doesn't work you can skip DB_file completely, and use a
different database backend

During the MAKER install do the following:
perl ./Build.PL --AnyDBM_ISA SDBM_File
<answer the questions it asks>
./Build install
Then test maker once on a new job.

The --AnyDBM_ISA sets a different database than Berkley DB (All of which
are slower than Berkley DB).
