commenting on feature nodes

Scott Cain
Hi All,

Is it possible to allow commenting on feature nodes?  Is it a good (or
at least, not bad) idea to allow it?

Thanks,
Scott

Re: commenting on feature nodes

Once again, another very late response, which you probably have figured out,
but I will reply to...

Yes, it is possible to turn on commenting since every feature in chado is a
node in Drupal.  It's one of the benefits for making features nodes.   You
will also need to install the CAPTCHA module otherwise you'll have a lot of
SPAM accounts and SPAM comments all over your site.

I personally think turning on comments is a neat idea, I just don't know if
it would get used for anything scientifically meaningful, unless perhaps in
a distributed annotation setting, but Tripal doesn’t handle that kind of
functionality.

Stephen
