Hi,
I am having a problem with gbrowse_details. If I look the detail for one feature, it works well. But If I want to view the detail of another region, I obtained the page from my first feature, not for the second where as th URL point to good region. It seems to be a problem of a cached file. How can I resolved this? Hi Christelle,
I doubt it is a cached file that is the problem; the gbrowse_details pages aren't really files, the text for the page is generated on demand by the gbrowse_details cgi. I wonder a few things: are the URLs being properly generated in the gbrowse imagemap? Can you mouse over several of them and make sure they are different? And when you click on them, can you make sure that the URL that gets opened is in the location bar of the new window/tab? Do you close the window/tab of the "old" gbrowse_details page before opening the new one (it shouldn't make a difference though, I was just wondering)? Dear Scott,
I still have not solved my problem. Here are the steps that lead to my bug. 1/ I blast a sequence 'A' and I want to see the result in GBrowse2. I see my track in Gbrowse2 (automatic track name generated), and if I click on the feature to obtain the sequence, it's ok. 2/ I start a new blast in a new window in my web browser. I see my track in Gbrowse2 (automatic track name generated), but if I click on the feature to obtain the sequence, I obtain the result of the first sequence. The URL is good, but not the display. I notice that the track name generated automatically is the same in the same in two cases...I suppose to be the problem. I join a slide with screenshot to be clearer. Dear all,
allways with my pb.. When I want to see the result of BLAST in Gbrowse2, I try to name my new track with parameters in the URL, but I have no success with this, and the name is automatically generated. Is there a way to impose the track name?
